From October 1934 to October 1936, in the long history of time, it was just a scale, an instant. But for the female Red Army soldiers who have traveled generously to the Long March, it is a test of life and death. They are as bloody and hard-working as the male Red Army. Some female Red Army overcame many difficulties and completed the Long March; the other part of the Female Red Army fell in battle and march. The women of the Red Army are not allowed to fight. They fight like men, raise a burden of food for the troops, rescue a wounded person, sing a battle song that reminds people to advance, and score a glorious page in the history of the Long March.
If you are physically fit and do mass work, you may be transferred with the army
In mid-September 1934, Li Jianzhen, the minister of the Central Women’s Department, received an order from Li Weihan, director of the Central Organization Bureau: to draft a list of female Red Army who joined the Red Army’s main force. Li Weihan told her: "The organization decided to select a group of women cadres who are in good health and will do mass work and transfer with the troops to work in Xiangxi. Your women's department will give me a list first, and the total number should not exceed 30." The situation in the Soviet Union has been very urgent. Being able to follow the actions of the big forces is a glory for every woman. Some also believe that it is also a kind of security guarantee in a sense. But not every female soldier can follow the big forces, and many people have to stay and face a more cruel situation. Even the women on the list don't want to leave, they want to stay and stay. They must first pass the medical examination.
On the way to the march, the women’s Red Army’s conditions of food, clothing, housing and transportation were poor.
xxFrom the evening of October 16, 1934, Wang Quanyuan, Deng Liujin, Deng Yingchao, Gan Yi, Wei Xiuying, Wei Gongzhi, Liu Ying, Liu Caixiang, Liu Qunxian, Yang Houzhen, Li Jianzhen, Li Bozhen, Li Jianhua, Li Guiying, Wu Zhonglian, Wu Fulian, Qiu Yi Han, Chen Huiqing, Jin Weiying, Zhou Yuehua, Zhong Yuelin, He Zizhen, Qian Xijun, Xiao Yuehua, Kang Keqing, Zeng Yu, Xie Fei, Xie Xiaomei, Cai Chang, Liao Xiangguang and other 30 female Red Army and more than 80,000 Central Red Army The first step of the Long March was a long journey. They have very few clothes and only have 15 pounds of weight, including changing clothes and some daily necessities. The food is distributed by the troops, and each of them is given a large enamel jar filled with towels and toothbrushes. The women's Red Army hung the enamel cylinders around their waists and became a chic landscape on the way to the Red Army.
On the way to the march, the women's Red Army's clothing, food, shelter and transportation are almost all original standards. It was drenched like a chicken in the rainy days, and it was often covered with dust in the face of severely water-deficient areas. The harsh conditions have weakened the gender consciousness of the female Red Army. Their biggest headache is to take an official holiday. At that time, the troops chased down the enemy's tail and kept on the road. Although the abdominal cramps and the legs were trembling, they had to move forward step by step. When you are staying, three or five people are crowded together and they are lying on the wet land. The female Red Army, the dangerous Xiuying, actually developed the ability to stand and sleep.
Some female Red Army did not even have a name when they sacrificed
In the Long March, on the rear front of the Red Fourth Army, a special team was active. Women's Independent Team (later adapted as an independent division), when it was established, there were more than 2,500 people, and the independent division commander was Zhang Qinqiu. They shaved their heads, dressed in military uniforms, tied with straps, shouldering the arduous tasks of transporting, raising food, and guarding the rear organs. They are not only an excellent logistics force, but also a good combat team. After the second grass, there are only about 1,000 people left in this team.
